dc.description.abstractDanas u svetu broj uspešno realizovanih multimedijalnih aplikacija i ekspertnih sistema brzo raste. Uprkos tome postoji više otvorenih problema u obe klase aplikacija, kao sto su: veoma veliki memorijski zahtevi kada je u pitanju skladištenje multimedijalnih podataka, neophodnost uspešnije interpretacije multimedijalnih podataka, klasifikacija različitih oblika medija, interaktivan pristup podacima, efikasno selektovanje i prikaz traženih podataka, učenje i poređenje koristeći obimne informacije i akumulirano znanje. Do sada je razvoj multimedijalnih sistema u najvećem broju slučajeva bio nezavisan od razvoja ekspertnih sistema. Imajući u vidu činjenicu da je proces integracije multimedijalnih i ekspertnih sistema je još uvek na samom početku, u ovom radu mi želimo da damo okvir jedne takve integracije. S tim u vezi predložena je generička arhitektura interaktivnog multimedijalnog ekspertnog sistema. Pored toga, ukazano je na značaj efikasnog podsistema za upravljanje podacima kod interaktivnih multimedijalnih ekspertnih sistema. Takođe, prikazani su rezultati testova performansi modifikovanog B+ algoritma, primenjenog u realizaciji podsistema za upravljanje podacima, za tri različite heš funkcije.sr
dc.description.abstractThe number of successfully implemented multimedia applications and expert systems is growing rapidly in the world. In spite of that there are many open problems in both classes of applications such as massive storage requirements of multimedia data, more successful interpretation of multimedia data, classification of various media forms interactive access and efficient retrieval of needed data and learning from accumulated knowledge. Until now the development of multimedia systems to a large part has been independent from the development of expert systems. Having in mind the fact that the process of integration of multimedia systems and expert systems is still in the beginning, in this paper we want to give a framework for such an integration. We have proposed a generic architecture for an interactive multimedia expert system. Specially, this paper emphasizes the problem of efficient data management subsystem in interactive multimedia expert systems. Performance test results of the modified B+ algorithm, implemented in the data management subsystem, for three different hashing functions are also presented.en
