The network theory was originally applied to describe relations between individuals. The network theory has grown to be a very popular filed among the researchers all over the world. This paper will show the overview of research using the network theory model in scientific authorship network. We used a database provided by the National Library of Serbia which consisted of a number of published papers during the period 2010-2014, 2132 authors and number of citations. We aim to introduce a complex network of authors and to question whether a positive correlation between the number of first neighbors of each author and his total citation can be identified.en
