Abstract: Cilj ove studije je da ispita mišljenje medicinskih sestara, na rukovodećim pozicijama, u vezi sa značajem pojedinih kompetencija u oblasti menadžmenta u zdravstvenoj nezi, i da se definišu kompetencije za koje ispitanici procenjuju da imaju najmanje sposobnosti da koriste u praksi. U radu će biti prikazani rezultati istraživanja sprovedenog u martu 2017. godine u Opštoj bolnici u Šapcu na uzorku od 55 ispitanika, a korišćen je upitnik razvijen od strane istraživača i stručne komisije američke organizacije medicinskih sestara AONE, prilagođen uslovima u Srbiji. Aspekti koji su procenjivani su: Tehničke veštine, Komunikacija i upravljanje odnosima, Konceptualne veštine, Liderske veštine (rukovođenje) i Poslovne veštine i principi (finansijsko upravljanje). Rezultati pokazuju da ispitanici procenjuju najvišom ocenom oblasti Liderske veštine (rukovođenje), kao i Tehničke veštine, dok je oblast Poslovne veštine i principi (finansijsko upravljanje) procenjena kao oblast koja ima minimalan doprinos za menadžment u okviru zdravstvene nege. Ovi rezultati nisu iznenađujući s obzirom na to da medicinske sestre, iako su na rukovodećim pozicijama, nemaju dovoljno autonomije kada je u pitanju oblast finansija u zdravstvenim ustanovama, a za političke procese i pravna pitanja nemaju dovoljno znanja.
The aim of this study is to examine the opinion of nurses, in leadership positions, in relation to the significance of certain competencies in the field of healthcare management, and to define the competencies that the respondents consider to have the least ability to use in practice. The paper will show the results of a survey conducted in March 2017 at the General Hospital in Sabac on a sample of 55 respondents, and a questionnaire developed by the researcher and expert commission of the American organization of nurses AONE, adapted to the conditions in Serbia, was used. Aspects that were assessed are: Technical Skills, Communication and Relationship Management, Conceptual Skills, Leadership Skills (Leadership) and Business Skills and Principles (Financial Management). The results show that respondents estimate the highest assessment of the field of Leadership, as well as Technical skills, while the field of Business skills and principles (financial management) is assessed as an area that has minimal contribution to management in nursing care. These results are not surprising given that nurses, although in managerial positions, do not have sufficient autonomy when it comes to the field of finances in health care institutions, and they do not have enough knowledge for political processes and legal issues.
