An approach for specification of knowledge-based simulation models in the web environment
Abstract
In this paper we discuss basic concepts of methodology for object-oriented specification of discrete-event simulation models in WWW environment. As a tool for specification it is proposed JESS - expert system shell which supports rule-based systems which can be tightly coupled with code written in JAVA language. For performing simulation, modified three-phase simulation strategy is used. Proposed methodology is explained on the example of telephone switch board.
