In the last decade, the ICT sector in Serbia has become one of the fastest growing sectors, characterized by highly innovative potential. Having evident growth of brain drain, particularly with the younger generation, ICT is expected to become a development opportunity for Serbia, based on high-quality education in this field and the entrepreneurial ideas of trained IT experts. The two cases presented in this paper show that intuition, expertise and managerial skills, followed by successful strategic partnerships and employment strategies, could lead to the success of Serbian ICT companies at the national and international level.en
