Abstract

U ovom radu govori se o Evropskoj monetarnoj uniji (EMU), njenim karakteristikama, kriterijumima koji se moraju prihvatiti ukoliko neka zemlja želi da se priključi Evropskoj uniji i uvede euro. Gde se nalaze Srbija i Crna Gora i Jugoistočna Evropa u tom procesu? Šta oni treba da urade da bi se priključili Evropskoj uniji? To je veoma složeno pitanje koje zahteva dug vremenski period i određene ekonomske i političke smernice. Neke od njih će biti razmotrene ovde.

This paper discuss about European Monetary Union - EMU, it's characteristics, the criterion that must be excepted if country wants to join EU and introduce euro. Where are Serbia and Montenegro and South East Europe in that process? What do they have to do in order to join the EU? This is very complex matter, it takes a long period of time and specified economic and political policies. Some of them will be observed here.
