Logical aggregation for strategic management

Abstract

The approach for BCG portfolio analysis is presented in this paper. This approach uses logical aggregation based on interpolative Boolean algebra. It is employed for selection of adequate pure/mixed strategy for analyzed product. Mixed strategy represents a strategy which is consisted of components - other strategies that participate in that mix with some proportion. The crucial issue for mixed strategy is selection of proper components and it is also taken into consideration. Finally, the proposed approach is applied on the hypothetical case of BCG portfolio analysis.
