IT investicije čine sve veći deo ukupnih investicija kompanija. Međutim, svakodnevna praksa pokazuje njihovu nedovoljnu efikasnost i neadekvatnu podršku poslovnom sistemu.
Information and communication technologies are one of the most dominant technologies nowadays. A lot is invested in them and outstanding results are expected. IT investments make increasing share of companies' total investments. However, everyday practice shows their lack of efficiency and inadequate support to the business. As the investments in IT projects are extremely high, setting priorities and selecting projects to be financed, is one of the most important aspects of managing IT investments. The economic justification of investment, in other words the effects achieved by involving an IT solution into business, can be difficult to determine because it requires evaluation of, not only financial benefits, but also benefits that are intangible and difficult to measure. Paper is offering the review of methodologies for determining information technologies' value that enable estimation of business value, which is expected from proposed IT investments.en
