Despite the efforts devoted to overcome differences in ict development level, evidence on this issue is still scarce. Within this context, the goal of this paper is to present new approach in determining development level of ict by using statistical i-distance method. Further, we will not only be able to rank countries but also to assess the differences between them. In a line with this, we will also determine key input variables for the process of ranking and propose some directions for future work.en
