Many of these activities include the specification and execution of model-to-model (M2M) transformations. During these transformations model elements are traced from a model at the higher level of abstraction to a model at the lower level of abstraction and vice versa, achieved through meta-modeling. Reengineering is one of the key concepts in software maintenance and evolution. In the paper we discuss the importance of meta-modeling in the context of database reengineering. | URI: | https://rfos.fon.bg.ac.rs/handle/123456789/1117 |
