Abstract: Informacione i komunikacione tehnologije (IKT) postale su značajni deo obrazovanja, posebno visokoškolskog.
Information and communication technologies (ICT) have become an important part of education, particularly higher education. Educational institutions worldwide are making efforts to ensure high quality education that is attractive, innovative and socially beneficial, and that includes the use of digital tools. For that reason, the management of educational institutions stimulates teaching staff to continue to work on improving the use of ICT in their teaching, on the one hand, and motivates students to use them in the process of learning and understanding the school curriculum, on the other hand. But despite of the attention paid to the use of ICT in education, there is not enough research that deal with the effectiveness and efficiency of ICT. These are the reasons why the authors consider possible ways of the evaluation of ICT in education, by using performance indicators.
