Relaciono-objektni DBMS-Luča

Abstract

U ovom radu se razmatra Relaciono-objektni (RO) model koji se nalazi u osnovi sopstvenog RO DBMS-Luča. RO model se dobija iz Proširenog Modela Objekti- Vize (PMOV). Takođe se razmatra primena sopstvene BEF metode u razvoju navedenog DBMS. BEF metoda predstavlja Proširenu (Extended) i Formalizovanu (Formalized) metodu objektnog razvoja softvera Booch-a.

Relational-Object (RO) model which is the base of our own RO DBMS-Luca is considered in this paper. RO model is obtained from Extended Entity- Relationship. An application of BEF method for development. RO DBMS-Luca is also discussed in this paper. The BEF method presents Extended & Formalized Booch's method for software development. RO DBMS-Luca enables performance of basic database maintenance operations supported by operation for integrity protection and data recovery. RO DBMS-Luca for now is single system realized in C++ environment with a small number of lines of source and executive code. It's efficiency is tested in practice with large databases. Some of our RO model concepts are announced for Oracle 8 DBMS.
