Since organic products usually cannot be easily distinguished from conventional ones, lack of information about the origin of the product is the main obstacle for gaining customers trust. Using blockchain technologies could provide transparent and non-editable information about the origin of the product and its journey to the end-user. This paper gives an example of blockchain-based system for tracking the process of organic honey production.
