Abstract: The main aim of this paper is the development of an e-commerce application based on blockchain. The developed application aims to overcome traditional e-commerce challenges such as fraud, data breaches, and reliance on intermediaries by employing a decentralized and distributed ledger system. Key features of the application include using developed smart contracts for the automated realization of ecommerce transactions. For the smart contracts development Solidity programming language was used. For the front-end development, it used the React framework. The findings contribute to the advancement of decentralized solutions in e-commerce, paving the way for a more secure user-centric online shopping experience.
