Keywords: | Decentralized application;blockchain;smart contracts;DevOps;e-commerce | Issue Date: | Nov-2025 | Publisher: | IEEE | Abstract: | Decentralized application (dApp) development within blockchain projects requires continuous integration, cooperation, and automation at every stage of the software life cycle. This article offers a solution to the implementation of DevOps practices in developing a decentralized application for the fashion e-commerce supply chain. The suggested methodology aims to satisfy the unique interests of both B2B and B2C stakeholders and make it transparent, traceable, and operationally effective. By incorporating DevOps practices, like automated testing, continuous deployment, and infrastructure as code into the blockchain-based dApp architecture, the model increases system reliability and reduces delivery cycles. A prototype of the dApp is demonstrated, showing its implementation through a DevOps pipeline. The results affirm that embracing a DevOps-based development paradigm significantly enhances the scalability, security, and responsiveness of decentralized applications in complex, multi-stakeholder scenarios, such as e-commerce. Future projects will address the cited limitations and provide recommendations for enhanced stakeholder involvement and practical application. | URI: | https://rfos.fon.bg.ac.rs/handle/123456789/3012 |
