In line with increasing external and internal pressures to implement sustainability and ESG principles within companies, software solutions for collecting and managing ESG data are appearing on the global market. The main function of these software is to support organizations in managing environmental, social and management performance, while centralizing all ESG data in one place, as well as reporting on sustainability. Although they basically have the same function, different ESG software solutions represent different forms of digital technology, with their own characteristics and specificities. The subject of this paper is a comparative analysis of existing ESG software according to defined criteria, with the aim of determining the identity, similarities and differences of existing software solutions which use can help companies better engage stakeholders and improve decision-making processes. This paper is the result of a detailed investigation of three ESG software solutions that were presented and compared according to 17 defined criteria. In addition to expanding existing knowledge about software solutions that support sustainability performance management, the results of the analysis can find practical application in organizations as a basis for the decision-making process on the implementation of ESG software, whereby organizations have the opportunity to choose key criteria for making the final decision. | URI: | https://rfos.fon.bg.ac.rs/handle/123456789/3138 |
