EVALUACIJA EFIKASNOSTI CIRKULARNE EKONOMIJE U EU I SRBIJI PRIMENOM WINDOW DEA ANALIZE

Abstract

This paper analyzes efficiency of the European Union countries and Serbia in the domain of implementation of the circular economy practices from 2010 to 2023, by employing the Window DEA BCC analysis. The evaluation was conducted based on three input indicators (material footprint, material import dependency, and greenhouse gas emissions) and one output indicator (resource productivity). The obtained results suggest that there are significant differences between the analyzed countries. Serbia has stood out as one of the most stable and efficient countries, while some countries, such as Luxembourg and Estonia, have significant fluctuations or a drop in the results.
