Abstract: he coronavirus COVID-19 is present in 213 countries and territories of the world, as well as on
2 international cruisers, thus becoming a global threat to the public health of the population and the
sustainability of the entire planet Earth. The impact of the pandemic on sustainable development goals, the
worsening of the outcome of the disease due to pollution, as well as the consequent reduction of air pollution
due to the inevitable quarantines around the world poses transdisciplinary problems that need to be solved.
Therefore, all research in this area represents a small, but necessary step towards elucidating the global and
urgent issues posed by the new coronavirus SARS-CoV-2. The paper presents a study that included 251
respondents from Serbia with the aim of examining their assessments of the state of environmental pollution,
the relationship between pollution and the spread of COVID-19, as well as their view of “life after the
corona”. The results of the research were processed using the software package SPSS 22.
