Abstract: Healthcare industry contributes to environmental pollution just like any other
industry. This negative environmental impact is reflected in numerous vehicle trips,
consumption of energy, consumed paper etc... For these reasons, in this paper, the
authors emphasize the importance of telemedicine application that through use
information and communication technologies contributes to savings in time, energy, raw
materials, fuel and achieves significant and evident reduction of environmental
pollution.
