Abstract: Usled napretka internet i kompjuterskih tehnologija, edukativne igre pokazuju sve veći potencijal kao aktivni oblik prenošenja znanja.
Due to progress of internet and computer technologies, educative games are emerging with ever growing potential as an active form of knowledge transfer. This paper is summarizing existing researches for application of electronic games in educative purposes while pointing out the downsides of current educative gaming systems. As a solution proposal we presented our system developed during research in Laboratory for multimedia communications with the Faculty of organizational sciences, Belgrade. Through the development of such system we supported new roles in the process of educative game creation such as educator or game designer. Also, we gain the ability to use XML format to define different game types as well as different instances of a concrete game type, which incorporates the knowledge within. By use of this system, educator can, without programming knowledge, develop an educative game, that will motivate student as well as providing him a fun way of learning about specific area.
