Abstract: Regrutovanje i zadržavanje davalaca krvi (DK) je osnovni zadatak transfuziološke službe. Zadovoljstvo davalaca je bitan preduslov da se oni vrate i postanu redovni DK. Naročito je važno da mladi steknu pozitivno iskustvo pri prvom davanju krvi, jer su strah i predrasude najčešći razlozi zašto se krv ne daje. Cilj rada jeste da prikaže različite elemente koji mogu uticati na zadovoljstvo DK kako bi se prepoznale i unapredile slabe karike u proceduri davanja krvi. Anketa je obuhvatila više od 600 DK, od kojih su jednu trećinu činili novi, a dve trećine ostali DK. Pitanja su se odnosila na demografske podatke, kako su se osećali pre, tokom, i posle davanja krvi; kako su procenili odnos i profesionalizam osoblja, kao i odluku da li će ponovo doći. Više od 90% svih DK je bilo zadovoljno profesionalnim odnosom osoblja, osećali su se prijatno i udobno pre davanja krvi i 95% njih su izjavili da su bili sasvim dobro posle davanja krvi. Mlađi davaoci su bili stroži u proceni ponašanja osoblja koje je zaduženo za period posle davanja krvi. Novi davaoci su bili uplašeniji, pokazali su izvesnu anksioznost i manje su bili sigurni da će krv dati ponovo, nego što je to bio slučaj sa ponovnim davaocima.
Blood donors (BDs) recruitment and retaining is a basic task of blood transfusion establishments. Donors' satisfaction is a significant precondition of their intention to become regular BDs. It is particularly important that the youngest BDs acquire positive experience during the first blood donation, since fear and prejudices are the most frequent reasons for not donating blood. Aim of this presentation is to point to various elements that might affect satisfaction of BDs in order to recognise and improve weak points in the process of blood donation. Questionnaire was distributed to over 600 BDs, one third of them consisting of the first and two thirds of the other blood donors. Questions referred to demographic data, how they felt before, during and after blood donation, how they assessed relation and professional attitude of the staff, and to state the decision to come again. Over 90% of all BDs were satisfied with the professional attitude of the staff, they reported that they felt fine and comfortable before blood donation and 95% reported that they were quite well after blood donation. Younger BDs were more rigorous in the assessment of the behaviour of staff in charge of postdonation tasks. The first time BDs were more scared, they demonstrated certain anxiety and were less certain that they would donate blood again when compared with multiple blood donors.
