Biography
Nataša Petrović is a full professor at the University of Belgrade - Faculty of Organizational Sciences (FON), where she acquired her MSc (1999) and PhD (2002) degrees in Environmental management. Areas of her research include Environmental management, Sustainable development, Circular economy, Environmental risk management, Medical waste management, Green marketing. She is the author or co-author of over 170 scientific papers, and author of two university textbooks, and one monograph, and four chapters in monographs, as well as “Guidelines for public participation in the environmental protection”. She has a citation count of 1323, with h-index 18 (Google Scholar). She has participated in two TEMPUS projects: Production and Profitability improvement in Serbia Enterprises by adopting Lean Thinking Philosophy and strengthening Enterprise – Academia connections – LeanEA, 511084-TEMPUS-1-2010-1-RS-TEMPUS-JPHES and Conversion Courses for Unemployed University Graduates in Serbia – ConCur,145009-TEMPUS-2009-RS-JPHES and one the Erasmus+ Programme: Erasmus+K2 Programme of the European Union - Information Security Services Education in Serbia (ISSES), 586474-EPP-1-2017-1-RS-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP. She was principal investigator of the project Vibe - Venture Initiative for the Balkan Europe, The South East Europe programme, SEE/D/0238/1.2.X. Prof. Nataša Petrović was engaged in two Erasmus+ Programme: Circle U. European University Alliance, European Universities Initiative, 101004062, and Erasmus Mundus Design Measures (EMDM) - Resource and Energy Efficiency and Circular Economy, 101082540 - REE-CIRCLE, and PANACEA project, program IDEAS, funded by the Science Fund of Serbia. She was a member of the Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No. 776751 CINDERELA project’s Stakeholder Panel in the field of circular economy in construction waste. She is a recipient of a Western Balkans Fund MOVE 2025 grant for the project “Environmental Management.” She is currently engaged in the Erasmus+ KA220-HED (Cooperation partnerships in higher education) project “Strengthening the ecosystem for sustainable student mobility” (SuMoS). She is the founder and head of the Center for Environmental Management and Sustainable Development at FON. She is a member of the Committee of Inter-University Sustainable Development Research Programme - IUSDRP.
